Our Dentists

Dr. Ariel Cohen, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Cohen earned his doctorate from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2007 and has built his career on a multidisciplinary approach – involving specialists where necessary to provide the level of care required for his patients.

He has a particular interest in using cosmetic treatments and dental implants to help change how his patients feel about their smiles.

When he isn't helping his patients achieve happy healthy smiles, Dr. Cohen enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and seeing his friends at Toronto Raptor and Maple Leaf games.
Dr. Benjamin Stern

General Dentist

Dr. Benjamin Stern received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto in 2007, after completing his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Western Ontario in 2003. He is currently a partner at Cloverdale Dental Group and enjoys practicing in all areas of general dentistry for a range of all age groups. Dr. Stern strives to offer a caring and comprehensive approach to his patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of their oral health needs and all dental procedures.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Stern enjoys sports (with baseball at the top of the list), travelling the world, and meeting new people from all walks of life. He has a soft spot for animals, particularly dogs.
Dr. Jessica Gold

Dr. Jessica Gold completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. Followed by her dental degree at the Schulich School of Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario where she was awarded the Ontario prosthodontics award upon Graduation.

Following graduation, Dr. Gold was accepted into the Tufts University dental residency program in Boston where she worked with adults and children as well as with the special needs population of Massachusetts providing comprehensive and emergency dental care.

Dr. Jessica is very excited to be joining the team at Cloverdale Dental Group. Outside of the office Dr. Jessica loves to ski, hike and spend time with friends, family and her golden retriever Jones!
Dr. Kevin Baweja

Dr. Kevin Paterson

Dr. Paterson is one of the founding partners of Cloverdale Dental Group. He has long time ties to the Central Etobicoke Area, where he lived, attended school and still has family. He graduated from The University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. Immediately upon graduation, Dr. Paterson joined the Clinic at Cloverdale. On a personal level, he has completed numerous marathons, an Ironman endurance event and a number of charitable cycling events. He enjoys travel, nearly all sports activities and anything which is a physical challenge.
Dr. Ryan Lum-Tai

General Dentist

Dr. Lum-Tai completed dental school at Western University in London, ON. After graduating in 2015, he moved to Halifax, NS where he completed additional training in general and hospital dentistry at Dalhousie University as well as the IWK and QEII hospitals.

In 2018, he moved back to Ontario and is happy to now be part of the team at Cloverdale Dental Group. His practice philosophy is based on doing everything he can to provide his patients with the highest level of comprehensive care.

He actively pursues continuing dental education and seeks to continually improve as a clinician. Outside of work, Dr. Lum-Tai is happily married and some of his favourite hobbies include cooking and travelling the world.
