Emergency Dental Care

Emergency dental care is most likely the most important service a dental clinic can provide. A large majority of dental needs are unplanned and unexpected, so a walk-in dental clinic that you not only rely on but can trust as well, which is an important aspect of your dental health. Our clinic sets aside time every day for dental emergencies, providing a wide array of dental services on short notice, specifically available for clients with dental pain, bleeding and swelling.

Oftentimes, it is hard to know when a problem has become an emergency. Dental pain and discomfort are wide-spread issues that many suffer silently with, however, they should not be a primary part of your day. At Cloverdale Dental Group, we provide emergency dental care services for a wide array of problems, such as:

  • Broken teeth– Chipped or broken teeth may not seem like issues that warrant emergency solutions, however if they are affecting your comfort or causing too much pain, then they need to be immediately attended to. A temporary filling may be placed to eliminate the pain until a permanent filling appointment can be scheduled.
  • Severe toothaches– Toothaches can be a symptom of a variety of possible factors, from cracked teeth to cavities, oral infections and diseases.
  • Abscesses– An abscess is a collection of pus in your gum and bone due to bacteria present in your mouth. They are usually identifiable by a combination of facial swelling and a toothache. This swelling may range in size from very small and visible intraorally, to a golf-ball sized swelling visible from outside of your mouth. All swellings need to be assessed and addressed to avoid any severe health issues.
  • Broken or Lost Fillings, veneers and crowns
  • Tooth extractions- This procedure is for situations of severe tooth decay, bone loss around the tooth, gum disease, or an impacted wisdom tooth.
  • Root canals– An emergency root canal is a semi-procedure used to reduce pain until a full root canal can be performed. During the procedure, the pain receptors in the affected tooth or teeth are removed, significantly reducing discomfort and pain.

Emergencies are not to be ignored or their impact on your body diminished; as feeling less than your best or constantly suffering from pain can be very limiting. No matter the dental emergency, our staff is prepared to attend to your needs and ensure that you are not experiencing pain or discomfort for an extended period of time.
